Hi,
I was curious if there was method to degauss an iMac screen. I have a CRT iMac from about the summer of 2000, and every time it starts on up, the grey Os X screen, the screen with the apple on it, has crazy wavy lines. If I remember correct, the monitor automatically degausses when it turns off, however if this is true its not enough,
or I leave the computer on too much.
Thanks for any help you can give.
Also thanks to everyone who suggested I change my hard drive about three months ago. I installed a 7200rpm 80GB Barracuda and the computer no longer gives me headaches from the hard drive. Though its not silent, and buzzes a bit. The improvement was worth it.
