I recently upgraded to 9.2.2 and just found out my UMAX 3450 scanner will not work with 9.2.2 and there are no upgrades available.
I have an iMac DV 400 Rather than buying a new scanner, my thoughts were to: a. purchase a external harddrive and load 9.1 (and later 10.3) and use that when I want to scan, or b. somehow also load 10.1 on what's left of my 13 gig hard drive (only 6 gigs left) Can a hard drive be partitioned with stuff on it?
