Given that it doesn't come out until Jan. 16th, I really don't see how many people could possibly have bought/used it ...
However, I *have* used Soundtrack, which is a more "pro" app but does much the same thing as Garageband. It's a really sweet app, both for generating music-that-doesn't-suck and for doing basic multi-track recording/editing. Garageband has a few "pro" shortcomings but should be adequate for a lot of uses.
