Sorry for this off-topic post, but no other sources have worked so far. I
use Entourage 10.1.5 for email, and the amount of spam I'm getting is
through the roof. I don't want to change my email address, so I'm wondering
what kind of spam filters work for you all.

This is one of the big advantages of having a .Mac account. Not only do you not get much spam thanks to Apple's own blocking, but you have the freedom to switch your real ISP around without having to give people a new email address. I just switched to Eartlink Cable (from Roadrunner Cable) because I noticed that most of the spam that was getting through was from that side of things. Earthlink has, so far, been phenomenal. I set their spaminator trap to "high" and so far (about three weeks now) ZERO spam has gotten through from them. Impressive.

Anyway, so between the Junk Mail filter in Mail, Apple's own vigilance and a couple of custom rules I implemented, I would say I actually SEE about 1 spam a day (ie it slips past all my spam traps). I consider this acceptable.

But if you're determined to keep using Entourage, then my suggestion to you is to have a look at the $25 shareware tool SpamSieve. The programmer just got an award from MacWorld for his work, which is pretty impressive for a one-person company. SpamSieve, as I understand it (I don't use it), works almost exactly the same way as Mail's built-in Junk filtering, which has been pretty good IMHO. After a few days training, you should see a dramatic drop in the number of spams that actually reach your inbox.

You can find SpamSieve at versiontracker.com or macupdate.com, or you can go to the homepage:
