Hi Brian,
Our school has about 45 of the iMac you describe and last summer I upgraded
all of them to OSX. They all are running 10.2.8 and not complaining a bit.
Go for it. It's stable. I also run 10.2.8 on my G4 400, my iBook 900 and my
Snow iMac 500DV-SE. I'm so happy with it, I turned down a free Panther.
