I was wondering if anyone here has upgraded their slot-loading iMacs with the G4 500mhz upgrade service from Techno Warehouse?
If so, how did it go? Did you get the logic board back promptly? Did it work alright after re-installation?
Is it worth it? I realize the answer to that would really depend on what you use your iMac for, but I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on it anyway.
( I recently acquired a blueberry 350mhz slot-loader. I got it for free, so I'm thinking it might not be so bad putting some money into it. I think I'll wait till I can find a 400mhz logic board cheap, so I can have the firewire ports on the upgraded board. )
