I use the resources at www.everymac.com there may be other databases out there, but everymac is quick and easy to use. If you have a tray loading iMac it is most likely a 233 or 266 Mhz iMac, otherwise known as a Rev A, or Rev B. They are a nice machine. Kind of like Honda's they don't do anything GREAT, but they do most everything good. I have a Rev A, with 320Meg of ram running Mac OS X 10.2.8 Jaguar, and it does the trick just fine. Any other questions?

Hi! I'm Sunil, and I've used macs since 1988 or so. However, I'm an iMac
n00b, having bought my first one yesterday for $75. It's a blue-green
iMac with a tray-loading CD-ROM, and 96 MB RAM (said the previous owner).
How can I determine other technical aspects of my new machine?
