You have to remove the lower panel (6 screws I believe), then remove the screws holding the cables and the CD drive in place. Take out the drive (carefully noting the routing of the wiring for the drive cable) and the memory modules are right below it on the logic board. They may have a cover over them. Make sure you have one of each type of mem module (one larger, one smaller). It's a real problem, but it can be done. Be careful not to break any clips that snap the case together.
