My first post, so I say hi everybody I have a imac g4 800m and lately I'm hearing a crackeling sound coming from I'm gonna guess the monitor, although its hard to be sure just by the nature of the machines design.
Whats strange is it does this even when the computer is in sleep mode otherwise the screen is fine, no visable anomalies. The crackeling has a "static electricity" kind of sound and does this about every few minutes.
