Hey Robin,

thanks for the long and accurate responding (as well as for the other dude :-). Still 
dont have my imac yet though. bummer. Should be here any time though. However, its 
very cool to hear that i can already get started with my original drive. It sounds 
that i at least can rerecord all of my riffings caught on tape last year to get those 
over with 
and then start upgrading and learning the real stuff within little time later.
Yes i am familiar with macmusic.org. I think their membership policy is a pain the 
arse though. I understand that it takes stuff to keep a great site alive, but i htink 
their 
approach is not the one. For instance acting a little more accurate with people who do 
request to contribute like i did a few attempts in the past, would be a huge step 
forward imho.
