I'm bought an external hard drive enclosure for $45.00 (coming in the mail) and am planning on pulling my hard drive out and hooking it up to another iMac to get my data out. Hopefully, this should work as my hard drive is still good, I'm assuming. I'm wondering if I overtaxed my little Bondi Blue iMac with OS X. Seems like a lot of the older iMacs are biting the dust lately. Do they just have a lifespan of four years or so, or is it that I souped it up too much? Or just my bad luck? Just wondering out loud. I feel your pain, Chris. I'm just glad my son's 500 mhz iMac is around still.
