Does anyone know if this is JUST for Airport Extreme or if it is for any Airport? I have the normal Airport but this update shows up in my Software Update window. The description mentions Airport Extreme cards and base stations, but doesn't say anything about a NON-Extreme setup. Would it do any damage if I downloaded it anyway?
Having read the description, I have no doubt that the update is recommended for users of Airport enabled computers. It says so.

Thanks, Mary. It would be nice if Apple would put these links in the Software Update info. In the info it talked about the new Airport Extreme features and seemed to indicate that Normal Airport equipped computers only needed it if they were connected to an Airport Extreme network.
