Hi. My iMac has been acting funny since last night. It is a 350 MHZ blueberry from about 2000, running 10.2.8. Anyway, first, Safari began to quit. That happened several times, then the iMac spontaneously shut down. I restarted and ran disk first aid, but Safari quit again, and once the screen turned blue, then flicked back to normal. So I turned it off and went to bed. This morning it wouldn't start up, got stuck "searching for directories". I shut it down and started it up from my Jaguar disk. I tried to run disk first aid from the Jag disk, but got a message box that "Classic can't run this...". So I turned it off again, and restarted normally, this time it started and seems OK for the moment.

So, is there any way to run a repair or diagnostic from the Jaguar disk? I didn't see any such thing. I don't know what to do with OS X except run Disk First Aid. I did that, but it is still acting strange. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Tom
