Get a good third party manual for OSX. A friend recently gifted me with a "Mac OSX: The Missing Manual" and I also have a dummies guide (not technical enough for me, but nice for the a quickie). I have loved my "MacIntosh Bibles" over the years. I am sure others on this list have favorites. Anybody else who cares to please chime in. I would love to here which ones you like.
AND in the unusual circumstance that noone else answers you, I'll take care of it tonight.

Thanks a lot. That is an idea. Now for the dumbest question in the world. How do I log in as root? At the main log in screen, I'm listed a Administrator. When I log in with my account and try to get at his stuff by going to HD-Users-Erich I'm told I don't have enough access privileges to get into anything but his shared and Public Folders. Guess I don't know as much about Macs as I thought.
Next time, punish him in a different way.
Good advice. This punishment turned out to be a bigger headache for me than it was for him!
