last 4 or 5 days.


I've been getting messages several days late, there was a 12 hour or so
window a few days ago where I didn't get ANY email (despite being on dozens
of very active mailing lists) and when my email came back, there were only a
few messages, not the hundred or so email backlog from the lists I was
expecting (not to mention the 200-300 spam emails I'd have usually gotten
during that time)


I soon received messages from several of those lists saying I had been
unsubscribed because too many messages to me had bounced.

If you were expecting any important emails, I'd double check with the sender
if you could and see if they've gotten lost on the way to you.


You can go to status.cox.net to see what kind of problems they are currently
having, though it usually just says something rather un-helpful like "Some
customers may be unable to receive email, we are aware of the problem and
are working to fix it, there is no estimated time for repair."


Sending an email to customer service didn't get me any solid answers about
what was going on with my email either.


Cox was the highest rated broadband ISP in PC magazine a few months ago.
I'd sure hate to see the worst!
