I'm moving over to Macs and want to use my iMac for web browsing. I'm
running Mac OS 9.2. I went through the Internet Setup Assistant and
entered the dial up number, but when it came to the Remote Password
dialog I left this blank as I don't use my iMac to remotely administer
any other machine (I'm assuming this is what is meant by Remote Access).
The iMac modem dialed the number, but I got a message saying there was a
problem connecting to the internet.

I wondered if the Mac needed my city/area code as well and wanted to try
adding it, but I can't find the panel to let me edit the phone number.
