Larry: Another resource for Word help is http://word.mvps.org/. These are the same (mostly) folks that work the appropriate newsgroups. They've help me on several occassions.

If anyone has any info I would glady hear what you have to say. :o) Incidentally, when opening a previously written (in 2001) Word document, opening the margins settings but doing NOTHING and then pressing OK gives a warning that margins or columns (or something) are not correct.
