I have tried to install a WD 80 GB HD in my Purple iMac 333 without much luck.
Software installs but computer will not boot from the HD.

It just dawned on me that the problem might be that the HD is set as "Slave".
I bought this drive in Florida and installed and formatted it as a second
drive in a G3 Mini Tower. I removed the drive when I came north and installed it
in the iMac. Drive worked perfectly in the G3.

Is the Slave Setting likely to be my problem? Does anyone know the correct
Pin Setting to change this drive to a Master.

Thanks for any help.
Cheers
