Hey hello, ik dont know who tried this before or thinks this is a good idea (maybe no one does haha). Anyway i was thinking of replacing the slot CD/DVD of my DV+ with a HP 7500 series and then cut a piece out of the front of the imac. I know its unreparable cosmetic damage but, hey functionality above all. that way i dont have to spend any of my scarce dough to be able to burn cd's. That way I was thinking that within a year or so i could eay replace my burner with a DVD-R 4x when everybody has a DVD-R that burns like 37x or what have you. Like if i am ever gonna burn 5 DVD's per day.
