I've been having problems creating a connection to a networked Sharp A-280 copier/printer in our church office. After a lot of monkeying about, the copier people finally got the eMac (X.3.3 still) and the printer on speaking terms, but I'm now trying to figure out how to set up printing from within VirtualPC 6.1/WindowsXP. There IS an XP driver available for the A-280; does it need to be installed? The eMac is using LPR/D to the printer TCP/IP address to do its work - can I expect the printer to show up in Printers & Faxes under XP? What alternatives are there (don't have full Acrobat. sorry).
