Listers,

My ISP provides an accelerator for my dial up service called Propel
Accelerator 3.0in Windows only. It does work well. However, they do not
provide a Macintosh version, and I have two Macs I want to which I want
increase the dial up service like my Windows computer. Has anyone seen a
Macintosh equivalent or used one?

I tried SlipStream through our ISP. I was not satisfied with the result. Whereas Safari by itself would slowly load graphics, text, etc., Safari with SlipStream seemed to have a loooooooong pause, and then things would quickly fill the page. Also, it seemed to change some of the settings on my computer, causing me to not be able to get online without it. However, some folks on this list helped me to identify these settings and change them back to normal. I'm using an iMac DV 400 with 1 GB RAM and Panther.
