Hello, Listas
Just spent yesterday upgrading a friends ol' A rev. 233Mhz
trayloader iMac with 256Mb Ram and a 120Gb/8Mb/7200rpm
fast HD, maxed out the VRam, and OS9.2.2. All went well, and
gave new faster life to his ol' iMac. Any other suggestions/ideas
for souping up this iMac further will be very much welcomed,
and apprecialed. TIA

While this was not my first venture into the inners of various
newer iMacs, it was my first on a ol' A. rev., so upon opening
'er up and first noticing that the cabling needing to be undone
to pull out the drawer innards from the case were indeed less
than all those I'd seen before(ie: no Serial connection/Ext.
Monitor) , anyway, all upgrades done and back home I started
checking on this unique to me iMac anomaly, and have come
across a very few references to a "Mezzanine" slot upgrade path
that seems to be a group of various addable cards that will enable
this rev. iMac to have various/some other I/O function interfaces.iirc

Could some of you who are more intune with this particular
unique area to Please deeply elaborate on what type of cards
were/are made, what they did, how these cards are installed,
and where the "Mezzanine" slot is physically located? Also,
any URL point tos on where search for these cards might be
begun, excluding any for eBarf(once stung!, now know better),
And the LEM Swap List is well known/used/trusted. Perhaps, a
Lista has an ol' card around gatherin' dust that they'd be willing
to part with cheaply? TIA

Lastly, as I'm on the Digest do Please include a BCC back directly
to me.

Thanx for your time and kindly consideration.
Respectful of GURUs
