The (15 GB) iPod has an adapter for use with Windoze. I assume that you can use this setup to connect to the USB-1 port on the iMac 350 MHz. I hope that I'm correct. Anyone?
You are not correct. iTunes will not work with the iPod using a USB 1.1 connection, even though the cord "fits."
You MUST have a FW or USB 2.0 connection in order to sync the iPod.
I would suggest looking into the HARMONi upgrade from Sonnet (which will give your Mac a new, faster processor as well as a FW port), or using a different machine.
