The (15 GB) iPod has an adapter for use with Windoze. I assume that you
can use this setup to connect to the USB-1 port on the iMac 350 MHz. I
hope that I'm correct. Anyone?

You are not correct. iTunes will not work with the iPod using a USB 1.1 connection, even though the cord "fits."

You MUST have a FW or USB 2.0 connection in order to sync the iPod.

I would suggest looking into the HARMONi upgrade from Sonnet (which will give your Mac a new, faster processor as well as a FW port), or using a different machine.

I was interested to hear about this harmoni thing. Interestingly enough, it
only fits the A, B, C, and D, not the 350. Too bad, I have a couple getting long
in the tooth, but one is a 350 and the other a 400.

I was slightly staggered by the price, though--around 350 bucks. That's
pretty steep compared to $600 for a reconditioned eMac. It's nice to
know it's available, though.
