I hope this fits under the once removed rule or something. I have a Beige G3, one of the originals. Runs fine. Spruced up a bit and running 315 Mhz with a 70Mhz bus speed.
The problem is this, and I believe has nothing to do with the upclocking. The machine has two HD's an IDE and a SCSI. OS 9.2.1 loaded on the IDE and OSX on the SCSI. Everything is fine, until I Zap the PRam. Then it only wants to boot in OSX. When, in X, I set the startup disc to the other drive with OS 9, it still boots to X on the SCSI drive. I have to boot with a Techtool CD, in it reset the startup drive to the IDE with OS 9 and it usually works. Any ideas why? Doug in Ohio -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
