What is the largest hard drive the Rev A bondi iMac can physically have installed? I thought there was a 128 GB limit, but is that just the max size of a partition, or will any drive over that size just fail to be recognized?
I have a chance to get a pretty good deal on a 250 GB drive, but it will be for a Rev A Bondi. As long as I can break it into 2- 125 GB partitions, it will be worth it for me to get. But I don't want to spend the money if the iMac won't be able to use the drive regardless of the partition size. (I also know that the entire boot partition has to sit in the first 8 GB, so really the drive is planned to be an 8 GB partition, and two more 121 GB partitions). If the Rev A can't do it, how about the slot load iMac DV SE (400 MHz Graphite). I could always swap the drive into mine of that version and use its 60 GB drive on the Rev A. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
