Yes, a 250 MB Firewire drive would work with the 400 MHz iMac, but not with
the rev A Bondi. But buying a Firewire drive defeats Chris's original idea
based around a cheap bare 250 MB drive. He would then additionally have to
buy an up to date Firewire case. Some older Firewire cases off eBay don't
break the 128 MB limit, I have 2 such drives here.
