Since installing OS X 10.3.4 Update the problem has dissapeared, but it defiitely did
keep crashing in PayPal in 10.3.3. I have since experienced problems with my online
banking crashing it also (2 days ago last time) so maybe there is a bug in the SSL
part of the WebKit framework or something?

As for PayPal pulling Mac support - that'll never happen - they belong to Wells Fargo
who also own eBay, which has a major Mac market, most of which is driven by PayPal
transactions (I have personal experience here). If Paypal ceased Mac support one of
eBay's major comuter parts sections would evaporate almost overnight, and they'd lose
about 8% (rough estimate!!) of their account holding customers.
