I have since experienced problems with my online banking crashing it also (2 days ago last time) so maybe there is a bug in the SSL part of the WebKit framework or something? As for PayPal pulling Mac support - that'll never happen - they belong to Wells Fargo who also own eBay, which has a major Mac market, most of which is driven by PayPal transactions (I have personal experience here).
