When you got your CRT iMac with Mac OS 9, did the colours of GUI match the colour of the iMac?
I don't think they did. I know that OS9 has many different back colors that look cool and match the colors of iMacs nicely. As for it coming up in teal. My universal install disc, 9.1 came up in teal too. So maybe thats the new standard color? at least for OS 9.
