I'm quite comfortable with using the same installation software of the Mac OS on multiple computers that I own. I actually did it with the release of Panther....the one copy got installed on 3 Macs. Now, if I had given the same discs to my brother-in-law to put a copy of Panther on his Mac, that would be wrong, he should buy his own. Same thing applies to my Photoshop. We bought one copy and have it installed on our 3 Macs. Also I would not offer it to other family members, they need to buy their own. Microsoft (a necessary evil) surprised me when we installed Office on the 3 Macs.....if I was using Word and my wife decided to use Entourage, she would get a message that this software was in use by another user on the network and it would quit. Now, I think that is just plain wrong. Microsoft expects me to buy a separate copy of Office for each computer? NO WAY! Appleworks to the rescue. Fair use of software is to be able to use it on computers you own that are in your house. Abuse is when you start lending out to friends of friends and long-lost cousins. That has always been MY OPINION even back in my PC days. Thank God that I switched when I did and haven't had to deal with Windows XP and the fascist policies of Microsoft.

not bringing this subject up to attack people who don't
pay the OS licence, I am merely bringing it up for discussion
to see what people think...
