iMac, revision-B, and it has run great since I bought it in '98. All of sudden the CD drive won't function. I reinstalled the driver and still nothing. The CD drive does not show up in the Apple profiler. The button on the drive door does not work. I opened it with a paper clip, loaded a CD, shut it up . . . . nothing happens! I worked fine last week when I last used it. So if you have any suggestions where to start or what the problem might be . . . PLEASE HELP!
