Hi, I'm afraid this is a problem of my own making. My tablet was working fine in OS 10.3.4 with the new drivers.
I was playing with the settings and the tablet stopped registering use in a 1 inch strip along the bottom and right sides. Thinking it was preferences issue I uninstalled the drivers, trashed any preferences I could find that related to the tablet and restarted. Now the iMac doesn't register the tablet at all, the lights etc on the tablet are all going fine so the usb port is ok.
