I successfully loaded 10.3.5 onto my 266 and it ran rather well- especially as a jukebox hooked up to the stereo. I made the mistake of selecting "allow power button to sleep the computer" in the energy saver preferences. When I went to bed I hit the power button and sent it to sleep. It had been running perfectly an playing music with the iTunes 4.6 visualizer on "full screen" at the "large setting".
When I got up this morning I clicked the mouse to wake it and hit the spacebar to play music, expecting the screen to wake as well. The music started, but the screen never came on. I've tried everything:PRAM reset, motherboard reset w/ battery out, startup from a CD. It boots fine and will still play music as iTunes is set to open on startup, but there's no video at all.
I did a little research at Apple's discussions site and found others who had a similar problem that was firmware related. I don't see how this could be my problem as I had 9.2.2 running on it before 10.3, and then it ran fine until I put it to sleep.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me- or at least anecdotes and similar stories...
