I'd like to point out, since I don't think anyone else has, that there are a lot of folks who advise against ever setting the comp. to sleep, just the screen. They cite file corruption and other issues. The Monitor certainly is the biggest power draw...
I've never heard this in the 25 years I've been using computers. Source?
