In Safari ,I am on or at , the apple site and I would like to download a software,programm or application....I click on the right spot get to the next step ....leave name and so on and than click again for the download to happen ...
THEN safari and IE flicker to a new window and back to the one with name or whatever......sometimes the flicked page stays.....empty but with
file:///private/tmp/502/Temporary%20Items/.__SDPluginHelper.html
in the adress bar..................???? Everything else works fine MAIL ,surfing anyplace....... I have checked temp files....empty I have quit and reloadet safari and IE I have restarted I have veryfied and repaired I have emptied safari cache I have NOT reset safari yet I am on broadband since aprox 5 weeks through ethernet

Not clear on what you mean by this. Could you clarify? What app are you using to "download software"? What do you mean by this term? What exactly happens?
