Anybody still using a 5 year old generic PC? This iMac is from 1999.
I have seven of them running strong. A 100 mhz, two 120 mhz, a 500 mhz a 700 and a 1.2 Ghz. My laptop is a 133, but it is an IBM so I guess it doesn't really count as a "generic PC". They all have either Win95 or Win98 on them.
I refuse to give Bill Gates any more money for the crap he produces.
My associate doctor in my office has XP on his laptop and every day has problems with it.
I prefer my eMac and my Power Base. They are much more stable and never need attention.
All my computers run MS office and are internet connected.
Most of them are connected via wireless internet (which of course goes through Mac OS X) router.
I use the clones only when I have to, and at work where (sigh...) I have no other choice.
