Getting out a newsletter for a Mac user group like ours can be a daunting experience, with users in their fourties to users in their eighties running System 7 to Panther. Mostly I do it all by myself but with half-a dozen Macs around the house there's always something going on with one of them.
I just wanted to add that you guys seem to do a really wonderful job up there and you should be commended for what I know is a lot of hard work (I am president of our local group and even with a great team to support me I feel it is more than a little burden).
I should probably ask you this offline, but I was wondering if you could poll your members about how many of them "migrate" to Florida on a routine basis. We'd be interested in knowing so that perhaps we can extend some comraderie to our Canadian friends when they visit. Feel free to reply offline as I'm sure most of the list isn't interested!
I'll close by saying that I'm glad to have found the mause.ca link and I hope that ALL the readers of this list find and support their local Mac User Groups. They really are a great resource that can't quite be duplicated through the net or lists like this one.
