If you are going to go to the bother I suggest you upgrade your hard drive first. OSX and OS9 will be very chummy on only 13 gigs !! I put a 120 gig Western Digital 7200 RPM hard drive into my daughters DV SE iMac a few weeks ago because the original Maxtor drive, although certainly fast enough, was just too small and too noisy. I used an external FW case and the Clone Carbon Copy thingy and it worked just fine. She wanted a real install of OS9.1 and VPC on one partition and OSX 10.2.8 with all of her Jaguar stuff on the other. The new WD drives have 8 megs of cache and are very quiet, fast and cool.
