I know this subject has been discussed recently, but as I then wasn't affected I didn't take much notice...
In any case, my problem may be a little different.
I have just bought a cheapo eMac 1GHz with a CD-ROM second hand, but it doesn't seem happy booting from the drive. I have a CD/RW drive, a standar IDE unit from an external FW Formac drive.
Will this fit straight in ?
