No it's not. I'm sorry you misinterpreted my answer (and cut out my further explanation to make it seem ruder than it actually was). Please see my post of a moment ago.
We are aware that a tower would be better than the iMac but we are looking
at budgeting issues as well.
Sure would have been useful (and resulted in a very different answer) if you'd bothered to express that in your first request.
We were just asking for opinions on the two overall....that's all....
What do you mean by this? "Opinions of the two overall" in terms of ... WHAT? Speed? Price? Expandability? Shape? Ergonomics? Software? Video cards? Output capabilities? Bus path speed? RAM costs? Colour??
In your previous post, you indicated that Photoshop performance was the factor you wanted opinions on. In light of that, go back and re-read my post. I think you'll find that I answered your vaguely-worded question with accurate, thoughtful information, and perhaps you'll also see that in hindsight it wasn't "rude" at all.
I'm sorry, but if you're going to continue to be extremely vague about what you're looking for, guess what? You're going to get responses that don't contain the information you need.
