Marcin, SURELY you don't believe that your experience is typical of that of other OS X users, do you???

Let me ASSURE you it isn't. The problems you describe sound NOTHING like my 3.5 years of complete bliss and ZERO stability problems in OS X.

I can't tell you from your description what is wrong with your setup, but SOMETHING IS WRONG. You can't seriously believe that all of us out here are restarting our machines daily??? Would we have ever moved from OS 9 if that were a typical scenario??

I usually go at LEAST a month between bootups, and could easily go a YEAR without restarting if it wasn't for Apple issuing updates to system components (like today's update of QuickTime) that require a restart.
