There's no "problem" with your 80GB drive, Carmen. All hard drives on the Macs format a bit smaller than their advertised size. There's several reasons for this, but it would take too long to get into them. Bottom line is this: when someone says they have a 160GB drive, they're talking about it's advertised size, not it's actual size.
