I am struggling with Dial-up, trying, trying to download the 10.2.8 update. I will get disconnected either after an hour or three hours. I can never get the whole thing. I have been using Software Update and sometimes it seems, to pick up where it left off, and other times not. I tryed downloading it from the apple site. No go. I just can not stay connected long enough to get it.
I would just forget about it, only I can not install Safari without it. Plus I am thinking maybe the update will improve my Dial-up connections. What to Do?
My setup is: iMac 350mhz 640 MB ram OS X 10.2.1 Mozilla 1.7.3 Earthlink(have tried both with and without the total access software)
I have also tried different access numbers.
Sounds like you need to fix your connectivity problem first. Noisy phone line? Try a different POP? etc.
Got a direct URL for the update? I could stick a copy on an ftp here, which will support resumes...
