Michael, My Snow iMac DV-SE has an ATA Quantum Fireball 30GB, so I guess you are safe with that Maxtor, though a 7200 runs hotter than a 5400rpm. I have replaced a couple dozen drives in 400mhz Graphite DV-SE's and found it to be really easy, once you are shown how. If you live close to Philadelphia, you can bring it over and I'll do it for you, or show you how.
