Is there anyplace I can acquire the older version of real player?
Real has old versions for Mac OS 9, 8, and even 7 here:
They do indeed, but don't expect to be able to play any current Real streams on anything less than the OS 9 player. Almost everyone on the web has upgraded and moved on from the "old" Real streaming formats, and the OS 7 & 8 players, while still functional, don't recognise the upgraded streams of course.
Just wanted to make it clear to people that Real does not *support* their older players, they merely make them available for download still.
