I am using mozilla 9.x for Mac OS 9.1.
What would I gain by upgrading to 1.2?
There is no "mozilla 9.x".
The last *official* Mozilla build, that runs on Mac OS 9, is Mozilla 1.2.1. It is available from <http://www.mozilla.org/download.html#os9>.
There is a newer build available, however, that includes a number of bug fixes from the Moz 1.4 tree. It is WaMCom Mozilla 1.3.1, available from <http://wamcom.org/latest-131/>.
IMO, it is worth upgrading to the WaMCom release. It's quite stable and includes a critical fix for https.
FWIW, - Dan.
Thanks for your posting Dan, just downloaded WamCom 131 for OS 922.
More out of sheer curiosity than of real need.
First quick test reveals some overall speedbump. Does prefer much memory though.
If it stays stable, I think I'll stick to this WamCom 131 :-)
