I have used a VST USB Floppy Drive with my iMacG3 (System 9.2). Main use is
to handle photo discs from a Sony Mavica digital camera which are PC
formatted recently purchased a PowerBookG4 and would like to continue to use
the VST Drive. The drive is recognized when I connect and I can read the
.jpg files. My question is, there were software drivers for for the VST
drive that handled formatting of PC discs.

Panther on the PowerBook? Have you tried formatting a floppy for PC? Didn't work ... or? Jaguar/Panther come with some native support for some VST drives. What is the model number?

These are written for system 9
and I believe VST is out of business Do I load these on the PowerBook or am
I going to mess up my system X?

Is OS 9 installed on the PB?
