Hi, I've been having trouble getting Quicktime to play AVI files. Is there a good shareware AVI player available for classic mac?
I think there is still a Windows Media Player version for OS 9, but almost all of the AVI files you come across these days are not going to play in that either. OS 9 is an obsolete OS in terms of codec development and AVI codecs have moved on.
