Last night I had a crash of sorts... I was working on a document and the computer went into work mode (spinning wheel thing) and would not stop , I tried all the key stroke options but nothing worked, resorted to shutting down.... on startup all I got was a question mark/folder alternating flash thing, I tried booting with disk utilities disk but the hard drive was not visible, I tried a number of things to get a startup, such as other start up discs to no avail........ no hard drive .
I just shut down and left it alone , I whimpered a lot but went to bed and slept well anyway, just one short nightmare.....
This morning I tried again, I slipped the hardware test disc in but the computer started up just like normal, I did'nt need to do anything.........
Is this a pre curser to problems coming? Do I have a major problem....?should I worry?
what do I do if it happens again?
I'm a little paranoid at this point.....
