I recently tried to open some long-archived TIFF and

Some of the images opened easily, but most did not. I

Is there any way to restore the creator type for these
files, or are they lost forever?

tiff The type is TIFF, the creator depends on the program that created it.

Same fir jpeg except that the type is JPEG
